This morning the Galil community was treated to a sleep-in as per every Saturday, complete with cereal and donuts for breakfast. Afterwards every shichva had Zman Tzrif, a chill time for the shchavot to have together.
The chanichim also partook in various chugim ritzinim on momentous topics such as Understanding Cognitive Science, the IDF, MBI (the Habonim post-10th grade Israel program), and others. The Madatzim ran a fantabulous jeopardy game for the kids for their weekly machaneh-wide peulah.
We listened to a pleasant musicale (weekly musical performance time) this evening while the sun set, and shared in the candle lighting, spices, and grape juice of havdallah. Afterwards we warmed ourselves by the midurah as we watched kids and madrichim alike perform skits for the amusement of all. Tomorrow the Galil week starts anew, and there are many surprises in store.
