Singing In The Geshem

Second session was greeted today with the gift of water from above. Continuous water from above this afternoon didn't rain on our parade though.

The Bonim used their first peulah shichvah of the session to bring in the maarach of the week, Israel. They went over the history of the state pre-1948, while the Amelim received their first instructional swim lesson (pre-rainstorm).

The Bogrim developed their camaraderie by doing the Wall on the ropes course. The Wall requires the chanichim to work together to scale a 15-foot wall using only each's own strength and the help of other chanichim. In their kupah asepha, the Sayarim discussed how they are going to ration the food they receive in packages from home this session. Since they were already on the topic of yummy goods, afterwards they went to the mitbach to bake cookies.

B'shalom,
Josh
